Guidelines

How we keep it useful.

Icreatechs is a community of Filipino builders. These rules cover the showcase, the community board, the Discord and the Facebook group. They are short on purpose.

Directory guidelines

What every startup on Icreatechs must follow. Startups are submitted in the iPhone app, and anything reported is checked by a person.

Own it, or be allowed to list it

Submit only what you built, run or work on, or something the owner has told you to list. If you are listing on behalf of a client, say so in the description.

Links have to work

Your website, app link and socials should load and go where they say. Broken, parked or redirecting links get the listing paused until they are fixed.

One listing per thing

No duplicates, and no re-submitting to get bumped. Want to update it? Edit your pitch in the app.

Say if AI helped build it

Using AI tools is completely fine. We just ask everyone to tick the box when AI meaningfully helped with code, design or content, so the community can see it plainly.

Be honest about your stage

An idea is an idea. Beta is beta. Only pick "Making revenue" or "Funded" if it is true today. Inflated stages and made-up numbers get removed.

Your pitch, your voice

Voice pitches linked to a listing must be recorded by someone on the team. No AI-cloned voices of real people, no pitching someone else’s business.

Community guidelines

For the board, the Discord, the Facebook group and pitch comments.

  1. 1

    Be kind

Give the feedback you would want to get: honest, specific, and without making it personal. Everyone here started somewhere.

  2. 2

    No spam, MLM or scams

No multi-level marketing, pay-to-join schemes, crypto pumps, get-rich-quick offers or fake jobs. These are removed and the poster is banned.

  3. 3

    Real roles, real pay

Hiring posts say what the work is and whether it is paid. Equity-only and volunteer roles are fine when they are clearly labelled.

  4. 4

    Respect privacy

Do not post anyone else’s phone number, address or personal details. Only share your own contact info.

  5. 5

    Keep it legal

Nothing that breaks Philippine law or the law where you are, and nothing that needs a licence you do not have.

How review works

Startups are published from the app. Anyone can report a pitch, comment or profile there, and a person reviews every report. Board posts sent from this website wait in a queue until a person approves them.

Listings and posts can be edited or taken down at any time if they stop following these guidelines. To change or remove your own pitch, edit or delete it in the app. For a board post, email us from the address you posted with.

Featured spots are picked by the team. They are not for sale.

See something wrong?

A scam, a duplicate, a broken link, a listing that is not theirs, or someone being unkind. Email us the link and what is wrong. We read every report.
