Feedback is a gift when it is specific. Say what works, say what does not, and assume the founder is doing their best.

Give before you ask

Test someone else’s app, answer one question, share one contact. The community runs on favours returned.

Solo devs, student builders, SaaS teams, agencies and the businesses they build for all belong here. No project is too small.

No hard selling

Share what you make, but do not spam DMs, run get-rich schemes or collect people’s data without asking.

Who is the community for?
Anyone building something in or for the Philippines: startup founders, developers, designers, small-business owners, online sellers, students with a side project. You do not need a product yet. An idea and the willingness to share it is enough.
Does it cost anything?
No. The Discord server and the Facebook group are free to join, and so is posting on the board. Publishing your startup happens in the iPhone app.
Discord or Facebook, which one should I join?
Both if you can. Discord is for live conversation, feedback rooms and the voice pitch nights. The Facebook group is for launches, wins, announcements and questions you want to be searchable later. Events are announced in both.
What is a voice pitch?
A 15 to 60 second recording of you explaining your business, the way you would to a friend. On Icreatechs the crowd listens and votes, so the clearest pitches rise. You can hear the published pitches here.
Can I promote my product?
Yes, in the right places: Launch Day posts in the Facebook group, #show-and-tell in Discord, and your startup pitch. Unsolicited DMs and repeated ads are not allowed. The community guidelines have the details.
How do I speak at a pitch night or Show and Tell?
Ask in Discord. The plan is a few builders per session, with priority for people who have not presented before. Bring a working demo or a recorded pitch; five minutes is plenty.
I want to run a meetup in my city. Can I?
Please do. Message us in Discord or email [email protected] with the city and a rough plan, and we will help with the listing and the announcement.
Someone broke the rules. What do I do?
Report it to a moderator in Discord or the Facebook group, or email [email protected]. Read how we moderate in the guidelines.
